As most courses sold at State University College now include some online component, Companion Websites may carry section numbers in a different range excluding those noted above.

Live Online Classes: These classes utilize videoconferencing technology to make a real-time (synchronous) learning environment for young students and instructors. Students login for the State University College videoconferencing system at specified dates and times through the semester to “attend” class in this particular virtual classroom. Live Classes on the web are good for students preferring real-time touching an instructor but will also want to pursue their studies from a remote location. Reliable Access to the internet , a webcam, and microphone are required. Note, students are charged one more fee of $8.33 per credit hour for Live Online Classes.

A Hybrid course is one out of which some percentage of on-campus instruction is substituted with asynchronous instruction brought to an off-campus location with the Internet.
